The President - Technology Parks is accountable for the vision, development, and day-to-day management of the Vancouver Island Technology Park and the Marine Technology Centre. The President - Technology Parks provides leadership and strategic direction to the team by developing innovative site plans, establishing relationships with academia, industry and government to grow the high tech cluster on Vancouver Island.
Dale Gann has long been recognized for building relationships with media, industry, academics and government; and for his valuable involvement in BC’s six key technology clusters. Mr. Gann has achieved significant success in public relations campaign planning and implementation. Mr. Gann is a proud member of several industry associations, and sits on many key committees dedicated to enhancing the reputation and success of organizations within the high-tech sector in British Columbia.

Controller
Glynn Jones
The Controller is responsible for supervising the accounting and financial reporting of the Vancouver Island Technology Park and the Marine Technology Centre.
Glynn Jones is a Chartered Accountant with degrees in Economics and Commerce, and has extensive business, accounting, tax, and audit experience. For the last ten years he has conducted his own CA practice, served as Controller/Treasurer for the Greater Victoria Public Board, and as Chief Financial Officer for a public company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, and was formerly a senior manager with KPMG in Victoria. Active in the community for nearly 20 years, Glynn has served on several boards including the Kinsmen Club of Victoria, the Cordova Bay Soccer Association, and the Victoria Business Improvement Association.

Facility Superintendant
Uwe Bartley
As Facilities Superintendent, Uwe is accountable for the day to day operations of the buildings, grounds, equipment, assets and systems within the Vancouver Island Technology Park, using wherever possible, best practices to ensure client satisfaction with VITP’s appearance and operating efficiency.
Prior to joining VITP’s team directly, Uwe held the same position with BLJC-WSI, the multinational firm which was contracted to manage the Park, and also had many years experience in similar positions with British Columbia Buildings Corporation.
