Tenant Committees

The Vancouver Island Technology Park has created various committees so that people can stay informed, in addition to them having an opportunity to have their voice heard. Have a look below at the committees that exist at the Park!

Tenant Council

Purpose: The Tenant Council is designed to give tenants an opportunity to keep up-to-date with what is going on at the VITP, as well as the chance to work together to make positive solutions to improve company and employee work environments. The Tenant Council is comprised of one representative per tenant.

Social Committee

Purpose: The Social Committee is designed to further enhance the “community” concept that is so prevalent at the VITP. This committee meets occasionally to discuss social ideas and events for the Park.

IT Committee

Purpose: The IT Committee is designed to keep the VITP on the cutting-edge of technology. With technology advancing in a blink of an eye, the need to keep with times in greatly important to the success of the Park. The IT Committee is comprised of knowledgeable IT members from various tenants at the Park.

Health and Safety Committee

Purpose: The Health and Safety Committee is designed to keep tenants informed on the latest health and safety regulations that exist at the VITP. The Health and Safety Committee is spear-headed by Security Supervisor Dick Melville and Facility Superintendant Uwe Bartley.

Green Committee

Purpose: The Green Committee is designed to keep the VITP a leader in environmental responsibility. This committee is comprised of members in our technology community that hold a high regard for sustainability in the business environment.
