Description:

The VIATeC Sales Manager Round Table provides an opportunity for experienced sales leaders (including those who lead other sales people, generate strategy or are responsible for managing a sales channel or channels) working in local high-technology companies to network and share ideas, information and expertise. This table is ideally suited for professionals with years of applied experience/training who are able to participate and contribute at a strategic level.

Purpose:

Share best practices and encourage learning for the purpose of putting into practice strategy and tactics that will increase revenue and lower costs at our respective companies.

Supporting a well-chosen group of technology industry professionals is VIATeC’s vision for the Round Tables. Our mandate is to support the fostering and growth of the technology industry; ensuring that tech industry professionals are the sole focus of the round tables is in line with our mandate. We encourage the Round Table participants to identify their key areas of interest annually and welcome them to invite guest speakers to address these topics. This allows the group to learn from other industries but maintains the focus on tech companies.

The Round Tables are formed at the request of members. Keeping the round table size manageable and the participants consistent increases trust between the members so that valuable peer sharing can occur. Screening participants so members have a high level of expertise increases the value of the information that is shared and ensures this is truly a gathering of peers.
